We drill and install corrosion resistant PVC and stainless steel water bores all over Perth. Despite being a bit of a sandy desert climate, Perth is blessed to be sitting over the top of aquifers that can supply us with bountiful water for our gardens.
My team and I can construct bores for Perth homes, subdivisions and schools. My experienced drillers can drill through any terrain to access aquifers below, and bring a water supply to you!
I will work to your requirements to design the most efficient setup for your needs including type and size of casing, screens, filter gravel, and any other materials required to give you a water bore that will deliver years of trouble free service. My production bores are constructed to exceed the Australian Standard for the Construction of Water Bores.
Do bores cost or give you money
Perth water prices have consistently gone up over time making it increasingly expensive to have the gardens we love. Gardens tend to be the single largest water consumers of a household over the year. Bore pumps can use as little as $20 per year on an energy bill and the wells water supply can last for decades, so more than just pay for themselves, they end up paying you – they are an investment. And should you ever want to sell your property, it’s a great way to add value and turn a profit.
Brown or green gardens
Perth summers can be brutal and the heat damage to the plants is obvious during the heat waves. Two days of watering a week doesn’t always seem like its enough, but Perth needs to protect its water supply, so that is our limit.
With a quality water bore installation, you’ll get a third day every week to water – those are the lush green gardens you see on your street! 😊
Low to high water pressure
Not every property has good water pressure and the reticulation systems can struggle. Due to aging water infrastructure in Perth, there is often a need to reduce pressure further to protect the old supply pipes. Bore pumps can be several times the water flow and pressure of a house’s grid supply. Drill a new bore well, hook up a new pump and disconnect your reticulation from the aging grid. Add in a bore tap and you can use a higher pressure hose as well.
Once we have drilled, constructed your well and established a water supply, I can design a system matches the well and pump with your flow and pressure requirements.
My suppliers provide an extensive range of bore pumps of the highest quality and I always select the best choice for your needs.

Well pump systems typically use a stainless steel 4” submersible well pump with three phase or single phase depending on the appropriate power supply. I also have a variety of optional extras to go with the system including cutting edge pump protection kits.
Once you call us, we begin our due diligence and have a look at the soil types and depths in your area, which are critical to the method and type of drilling and construction. We will then send you prices and installation details and material specifications with various options on construction, pump types and safety features such as pressure release for the pump.
If you are happy with what you see (and most people are) let us know and we will head around and assess the site, you can let us know your ideal location. The lid of the new bore well will be roughly 420mm x 305mm and can be installed at surface level for easy access or buried under ground so it’s out of sight. It can also be put into garden beds, lawn or driveways if need be. Once we have assessed everything as good to go and you have given us the green light, we will organise to head around and drill.
Water bore installation will then begin using our truck or trailer mounted drill rigs, depending on the site. The well will usually be drilled with a 6 inch bit and we will install a 4 inch casing through the middle with the slotted screen at the bottom for water entry.
We then pour gravel packing down the well to fall around the screen. After that we air develop the bore to clean up the installation and increase the water flow through the base.
Then we install the pump, the correct gauge of stainless steel support wire and the correct pressure pipe to matched the pump, as well as the right gauge of submersible wire installed by one of our pump sparkies.
Lastly, we install any additional options you have requested such as bore taps, pressure release, electrical protections or valves and connect it to your existing reticulation, both electrically and as the new water supply.
Like magic, you now have a very valuable and reliable Bore Installation at your property at a great price and guaranteed quality – it is what we do for a living after all! 😊
